The first prerelease of Mandriva Linux 2012 has just been made official! :o)
Some of the highlights of this release are: KDE 4.8.4, Gnome 3.4.1, rpm 5.4.9, kernel 3.4.1, updated drakx tools (merging all latest changes from Mageia), libreoffice 3.5.2, GIMP 2.8.0, mplayer 1.1 and a bunch of new versions and bug fixes for tons of other packages as well!

This release comes in the form of the classical installer and is available in DVD formats for i586 & x86_64 and also as dual arch in CD format.
